WAYSIDE SCHOOL (1998 - 2000)

Wayside School was a three or four piece jam band that played its first show on September 17, 1998 at 101 Armory in Champaign and its last show on December 13, 2000 at the Canopy Club just down the street in Urbana, IL. The standard lineup featured Jon Harper on guitar, Tim Rimbos on drums, and Tom Perona on bass and vocals. Jim LeFager played percussion intermittently throughout the band's existance and Matt Cullen joined at the tail end of the group.

Wayside School recorded one full length album that was packaged and sold at shows. The self-titled record was recorded on four-track between August 1999 and May 2000 at the White Street Laboratory. The album was engineered, produced, and mixed by Perona. It's posted in its entirity below.
